Samsung T200HD 20-inch Touch of Color LCD HDTV Widescreen Monitor Review

I bought this monitor as external monitor for a MacBook Pro, but now a day as HDTV. As a computer monitor is not as fresh and sharp as the LCD MacBook, but it is not surprising for the extremely high quality of Apple LCD monitors. Probably the only way to improve the quality of play is to buy MacBook LCD Apple Cinema Display ($$$).
As a computer monitor, I was very happy (with DVI connection).
As a bonus, thisMonitor includes an integrated HDTV tuner, so I added some old rabbit ears and just started OTA HDTV. Wow!
The speakers are a bit 'weak, so sometimes I plug in my computer speakers, exterior headphone jack on the TV.
Because I liked the HDTV so I finally connected to a DirecTV HD DVR (HR22) on this TV, and now you can get all my channels, not just the air. The DVR is connected via HDMI and the quality is excellent.
This remote is also nice andSimple and easy to use.
The on-screen menus are clear and easily understood.
I really only 2 complaints about this monitor: (1) Speakers are weak (but in a small monitor that is expected), and (2) attract dust like crazy!
I recommend this monitor, or as a computer monitor or an HDTV – or both!
Update: It 's about 3 months ago, have been since my original post, so this is just follow-up after confirming that I am still very impressedwith this monitor, even with friends and family have commented on how strong it is (for HDTV display). Also, if you have a problem with weak speakers, simply plug your computer speakers on the monitor. If I use it to watch TV, I unplug the speakers from my MacBook Pro and plug in the monitor. Late at night, then the TV speakers are fine.

Customer Reviews
Fantastic little TV – Matthew Dyer –
great picture, clear sound and good, and all at a very reasonable price. This is a great little TV, just the right size. I like the HDMI and the Samsung quality. Can not go wrong here.
Perfect – B. Davis – The Caribbean
His perfect what more can I say … but the sound SRS function is not sure how it works, if I need a speaker system that uses it or not because it is not in itself mean when you press on the remote control "not available", so yah, to control that work to push u b4 … However, its 1080p and its impressive for a TV … but if you go deeper than the top of it, it gets dark, which sucks, because he remembered not support the functionality that I can not, what it means now, but overall its great
Good video, poor sound quality – Penny Pincher –
Purchased as a capacity for small television monitor. The video is great, but the sound quality on board speaker is less than expected even for small-size LCDs. Good value.
