How spoiled. By far the best monitor I've ever had, and I had six months. Flawless, no dead pixels, and color cast called from side to side so low, I am not sure I really see what has been described. I use it for testing and digging MF digitized photographs, CS4, Models of development for my photos. But they are the most highly trained professional color and can be much more expensive to monitor. If you're also a bit 'in color management, then a degreecalibration seems wise. I mean with calibrated Display2 XRite desire very simple, but I would be more costly spectrophotometers for the same printer, projector have to do). Depending on the color you are, this may not be necessary because the full-res native mode with no adjustment required for most of my work has come. The colors are very natural, especially for the price, including VGA.

Complaints? Not really. The stand is wonderfully stable, andPanning for portrait mode is very easy if USB is dangling. What I found is a single-Win7 64 hotkey switch from portrait and landscape. Bottom line, this device is very restful to the eyes, as the viewing angle is so wide with the IPS project. Only I wish it were more proportionate 6×5 or 4×3, but it is better for CS4 and Lightroom ViewNX Wide format. For those who do, like two WP 8.5 x 11 sheets for full-size side by side, with lots of sidebar room, this width is perfect. I doubt it to 24 in the value of money, but could be the 26in. 30 would be nicebut too expensive now. This is a clean device. Highly recommended for most photographers and artists.

Of course, this monitor could be larger, and there are cheaper alternatives – but you would spend on a hard where your money is how this can be found. First, it is an IPS monitor with color and excellent image quality out of the box. Mine came in perfect condition, original box packing stable and had no dead pixels on arrival. I calibrated with a colorimeter ColorMunki, but if you are used to calibrate the monitor, not with the eye is difficult to adjust. ColorShow on my uniform looks – does not move of note.

Pro? Comes with a sturdy base that there is solid stability and also helps to hide the cables from the monitor. (You can also activate the platform and use vertical). Frame design is minimalist and simple. Two additional USB ports on the right side in handy when you are out of them run on your laptop, or if they are out of range. It also has a pair of stereo speakers hidden, but I can not commentthis, as I do not use and do not do games on the computer. I use it with a 15-inch MacBook Pro, after connected through the DVI to Mini Display Port (not included, available at any Apple store). It 'works perfectly and the benefits an all digital video connection is not be underestimated.

I had to use it to monitor IPS research in the processing of photos and video. I initially conceived as a Wide Gamut monitor but I have found that seem to dye questions. Most monitors range in my price range had reviews where users had to return the check because of the imbalance of color bands or repeated sounds. I came across this monitor to Amazon and the reviews were positive. There was a lot of information or assessment made available because the monitor wasso new. I ordered knowing that Amazon would use the positive return when the monitor was less than its nominal value. So far I'm happy. Obviously the 23-inch format makes it a little 'smaller 24-inch monitor available from other manufacturers. It seems well built and I had no problems. I calibrated with a Spyder Express 3. For what it's worth, I have three different monitors: my MB Pro, an old Samsung, NEC and calibrated. Samsung needs the most correction. The MB had a prorather significant correction. NEC was the best of the three right out of the box. Indeed, before and after photos are not drastically different (as were the other two monitors). So even if you did not calibrate the monitor, it should not be too far right of the box. The only cable that is not included is the latest DisplayPort on the new MacBook Pros use. Everything else was included. This monitor meets the needs I had, which was non-professional photo and video editing.Finally, I return a Wide Gamut monitor, but I'm working until the chickens come out affordable versions, wait before buying.

I have this monitor, because it is one of the few that has actually been monitored supports DisplayPort.
The choice I had was either to convert a $ 100 cable with DVI or DisplayPort to spend $ 100 on the monitor. That was actually the best deal.
